The customer
The customer, a globally renowned lifestyle brand for gamers, boasts a widespread fan base across all continents. With an extensive ecosystem encompassing hardware, software, and services tailored for gamers, the company operates in a digitally dynamic environment. Facing the challenges of an enlarged attack surface amidst a large-scale digital transformation, the customer sought to modernise and fortify its security infrastructure.
The objectives
The primary objective for the customer was to establish a 360-degree, resilient, and robust security posture capable of safeguarding their global operations. With over 1,700 endpoints, including third-party SaaS apps, services, and the entire Microsoft 365 ecosystem, the customer aimed to enhance their security capabilities to counter evolving cyber threats effectively.
The solution
Logicalis collaborated with the customer to develop a holistic security modernisation and adoption roadmap leveraging Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and Security Copilot. The solution, powered by Generative AI and designed as an MXDR and intelligent SOC solution, provided multi-layered protection, detection, and response capabilities across the customer's hybrid cloud environment.
Beginning with the implementation of Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC), Logicalis proceeded to deliver a successful Proof of Concept (POC) for an intelligent and Adaptive Security Operations Center (SOC) based on Microsoft Sentinel. This initiative showcased the end-to-end value of a true MXDR solution, culminating in the adoption of Microsoft Sentinel as the customer's security information and event management (SIEM) and Security orchestration, automation, automation and response (SOAR)solution.
