United Kingdom, Jul 20, 2022

London, United Kingdom, 20th July 2022Logicalis UK&I, an IT solutions and managed service provider, today announces it has been recognised as one of the 2022 UK's Best Workplaces™ for Women. The list was launched this morning by Great Place to Work® UK, ranking Logicalis UK&I 85th out of 96 UK-ranked medium-sized organisations.

Logicalis UK&I is among the 96 UK-based organisations recognised by its employees as an organisation that addresses gender equality issues and remains committed to building a better future for women at work. Logicalis UK&I has delivered impactful programmes and practices to ensure people aren’t discriminated against, to create fair access and advancement for all, and foster a sense of value and empowerment in employees.

On this achievement, Carly Hilling, Chief People Officer, Logicalis UK&I says: "Employees, irrespective of their demographic, background, circumstances or gender, should feel valued and supported in their working environment. At Logicalis UK&I, we believe that career opportunity, recognition and reward should be determined by a person’s capabilities and achievement, not their gender. While there is more to be done to drive change, this achievement demonstrates the steps we are taking as an organisation to ensure all our employees have a place to work that empowers them."

What this recognition confirms about Logicalis UK&I:

  • It is a great workplace FOR ALL, including women.
  • It is an organisation where people trust each other and employees can reach their full human potential, no matter who they are or what they do.
  • The company supports the different identities women hold and ensure their daily experiences are positively and consistently experienced
  • It recognises that women are a valuable talent pool and strive for fair representation of women in the workforce and throughout management.

Hilling continues: “At Logicalis UK&I, we offer a flexible working environment for all employees, allowing staff the flexibility to decide where they want to work from on any given day. This flexibility allows employees to spend more time with their families and to plan their work around their home life, such as school pick-ups, extracurricular activities and such forth. As well as this we offer enhanced Maternity Leave to encourage new parents to take more time off work to bond with their child and be with their family. It is policies such as these that allow us to truly be a great place to work.”

Kate Gummer, an employee at Logicalis UK&I comments: “During my time at Logicalis, there have been several initiatives to educate and celebrate diversity and inclusion, whether that be training around understanding unconscious bias, inclusivity and micro-behaviours, or raising awareness and recognising the differences in our team, and I have never felt that I have been at a disadvantage as a woman within the business. The flexible approach to our return to the office has meant that I can juggle work and home life and reflects the company adopting a truly agile approach to the new world of work. As I embark on my next journey of maternity leave, the business could not be more supportive of my role and future here.

I'm looking forward to returning to help create more development opportunities for women in the technology field in the future.”

As Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® UK, explains: “Now in its fifth year, our 2022 list showcases the largest collection of Best WorkplacesTM for Women that the UK has ever recognised. These results are based on what women themselves have anonymously reported to us about their workplace experience and how well represented they are in the workforce and management.  Ensuring people aren’t discriminated against, placing positive value on our differences, creating fair access and advancement for all, and fostering a sense of value and empowerment in employees is what being a Great Place to Work® is all about. Only by first identifying the gaps in workers’ experiences can organisations truly take action to close them, which is why analysing employee experience is important. We are proud that the data and insights we provide organisations helps on that continuous journey - and it’s wonderful to celebrate so many Best Workplaces™ for Women this year, across all sectors and organisational sizes.”
